Had a very pleasant experience and found a steal of a deal price for a yanagiba. Calvin was very knowledgeable and shared some of his wisdom with me. The knives they carry are priced reasonably according to its quality & material. Do note to call ahead of time before dropping by.

Pete's is THE place to go for high quality knives in Kota Kinabalu, with a large selection and price range of professional knives. They also carry hand-forged woks, cutting boards, and other select kitchenwares. Knowledgeable owner and his son will guide you in the right direction. They also offer professional knife sharpening.
